“ILLA” by Guilla featuring T2 the Ghetto Hippie
Houston, Texas – (April 20, 2017) Following a big weekend of performing at both SXSW and the 4th Annual Celebration of Beer – and more recently – Whateverfest, rapper/producer Guilla today announced the release of his new single, “ILLA” featuring T2 the Ghetto Hippie.
“ILLA” is available now on Soundcloud.
A perfect soundtrack for national smoke day, Guilla’s enthusiastic ode to ‘endo’ aka indoor cannabis, features the wavy vocals of T2 the Ghetto Hippie over a reggae-inspired beat.
Deviating from the trappy sounds of his last project, Guilla channels chill vibes with “Feeling so high I could never touch the ground, living in the sky and I ain’t ever coming down.” Still, one only has to look at the album’s cover—a psychedelic portrait complete with GRAV® water pipes — to deduce that he is smoking the good good. There’s nothing more important than having the perfect playlist prepared for your 4/20 smoke sessions and while just about every song sounds awesome when high, some joints rise above the rest.
Guilla will open for Shonen Knife on May 16th in Galveston, Texas.
Guilla is a Rapper and producer out of Houston, Texas. His Children of the Sun album was voted 3rd best album in Houston of 2016 by the Houston Chronicle.
